Why did it take so long to announce the physical edition?
We are a very small team. During the final months of polish and preparing to publish our first game, we tried to stay focused on the game itself and our digital release. Polishing and publishing required our full attention. As we neared our digital release date, Maximum Games emerged as a great partner who could carry a good portion of the physical publishing burden without much help from us. As soon as we were certain that the partnership with Maximum would result in a physical release during 2021, we let our community know.
Our community has been and still is very vocal about their desire for a physical version of the game. We want to allow more people to access Kena in whatever form they prefer.
